First Generation A20/35 Series
First generation Celica was introduced in the late 1970s and continued production until 1977. Body styles included a 3-door liftback and a 2-door hardtop.
Second Generation A40 Series
The second generation Celica was released for 1978 and continued until 1981. The second generation Celica can be broken down in two series both A and B with noticeable differences.
Third Generation A60 Series
August 1981 premiered the third generation Celica, which was available in coupe, liftback and convertible. Production of the A60 continued until 1985.
Fourth Generation T160 Series
Dramatically changed, it was a completely all-new vehicle with front wheel drive. Production started in early August 1985 and ended in 1989.
Fifth Generation T180 Series

Sixth Generation T200 Series
Once again Toyota completely revamped the Celica, new front/back end. Production was between 1994-1999, the Celica was available in a 3-door liftback, 2-door coupe, 2-door convertible
Seventh Generation T230 Series
Last model produced in North America, was the T230 series. Production started in 2000 and lasted until 2006. The T230 was only available in a 3-door liftback.
